About This Data

This ranking is produced using the Glicko2 rating system, which evaluates wrestlers based on their match outcomes and the ratings of their opponents. It uses only one-on-one matches from CageMatch, and doesn't take into account any multi-person matches (tag teams, battle royales, triple-threats, etc).

The rating is "seeded" using data from the previous year to provide a starting point for the Glicko2 calculations, so rather than being a single-year snapshot, it's more of a rolling two-year ranking with emphasis on the more recent year.

The "RD" column indicates the rating deviation, which reflects the uncertainty in a wrestler's rating. A lower RD means more confidence in the accuracy of the rating. Wrestlers with fewer matches will typically have a higher RD.

Data is sourced from Cagematch. Only wrestlers with 8 or more singles matches during the rating year are included in the output.
